2.5 MySpectrum Service

The MySpectrum service is a simplified version of the Spectrum Services. It does not contain the scientific functions and does not provide a web interface, only a web service for querying and modifying the underlying database. MySpectrum is platform independent, it can be run on Windows with the .net framework version 1.1 or on any unix system with the mono framework installed. It works with MS SQL Server or MySQL.

MySpectrum exports the standard querying interface, so it can be integrated into the Spectrum Services by registering a collection.
