The Web is the World's best telescope! The seeing is great and the sky is always dark. Observations at all accessible wavelengths are readily available for scientific analyses and/or browsing around. The US Virtual Astronomical Observatory, a.k.a. the VAO, and 16 more member projects of the International Virtual Observatory Alliance are hard at work to make online data more accessible.
